Job Summary:
The Brand Manager is responsible for partnering with senior leadership across functions to ensure the creative vision of the brand. This individual will collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer, Marketing, Sales and Analytics in the development of creative strategy initiatives across the brand. This position will partner with senior leadership on Strategy and Innovation presentations as well as high level brand presentations for corporate and regional audiences.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Vice President Creative, Marketing, Digital Marketing and Analytics to build and refine overall creative strategy for the brand
- Partner with cross-functional marketing and product development teams to develop/align on sound and smart creative briefs for the teams to concept against leading to remarkable creative work
- Execute special projects to move the brand forward as the leading beauty brand and manage through a strategic and operational lens
- Work with the teams to develop creative solutions to business problems or objectives
- Research and gather data to develop well-informed strategic plans/creative concepts for brand initiatives across all consumer touchpoints
- Produce cohesive and intelligent plans to bring success to campaigns
- Generate original ideas with other members of the Creative team
- Liaise with senior members throughout the brand to receive feedback and create improvements to strategies for all Creative objectives
- Become a local expert across all regions and affiliates to help inform the global Creative output
- Map out effective collaborative workstream with Creative and cross-functional teams within the brand for all strategic initiatives
- Develop Creative presentations as required for meetings, including Strategy and Innovation
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of computer programs including PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop,
- Ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
- Superior organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of current fashion trends
- Excellent people skills and strong managerial skills
- Motivated, self-starter
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
